Overview

The ATV DIN 18313 "Diaphragm walling" editorially revised by the German Committee for construction contract procedures (DVA). Among other things, the references to VOB/A have been updated. It is applicable for the construction of retaining walls, cut-off walls, barrettes and other structural members in trenches using support fluids. It includes the excavation of such trenches with the aid of support fluid, reinforcement, concreting and the insertion of elements into the trenches. This standard also applies to the construction and removal of guide walls and the necessary earthwork.
