Overview

ATV DIN 18317 "Diaphragm walling" has been editorially revised by the German Committee for Construction Contract Procedures (DVA). Clause 5 "Settlement of accounts" has been restructured. This standard deals with the construction of retaining walls, cut-off walls, barrettes and other structural members in trenches using support fluids. It includes the excavation of such trenches with the aid of support fluid, reinforcement, concreting and the insertion of elements into the trenches. This standard also applies to the construction and removal of guide walls and the necessary earthwork.
