Overview

The ATV DIN 18313 "Diaphragm walling" has been technically revised by the German Committee for construction contract procedures (DVA). It is applicable for the construction of supporting walls, waterproofing walls, barrettes and other structural members in trenches using bentonite slurry. This includes the excavation with the aid of slurry, reinforcement and concreting as well as the installation of construction elements in the trench. It is also applicable to the construction and removal of guide walls and the accompanying earthwork.
