ATV DIN 18336 "Waterproofing" has been technically revised by the German Committee for construction contract procedures (DVA). It is applicable for waterproofing using bitumen, bituminous material and metal strips as well as plastics or rubber sheeting to protect structures against ground moisture, seepage water, water exerting hydrostatic pressure and such exerting no hydrostatic pressure, and the establishment of required insulating, separating and protective materials and elements.
