ATV DIN 18336 "Waterproofing" has been editorially revised by the German Committee for construction contract procedures (DVA). Among other things, the references to VOB/A have been updated. It applies for waterproofing using bitumen, bituminous material and metal strips as well as plastics and rubber sheeting to protect structures against ground moisture, water (including seepage water) exerting hydrostatic pressure and such exerting no hydrostatic pressure, and the associated insulating, separating and protective materials and elements. It also applies to waterproofing under intensive greenery.
