DIN EN 14116:2011-02

The standard EN 14116 deals with the digital interface at the product loading and/or discharge couplings which is used for the transfer of product-related information and specifies the performance requirements, critical safety aspects and tests to provide compatibility of devices. EN 14116 specifies a digital interface which is suitable for use with liquid fuels. Through the incorporated Amendment A2, Figure 8 illustrating the operational data of the Multi-PID (Multiple Product Identification Device) and the calculation algorithm for CRC 16 have been revised. The European Amendment A2 to EN 14116 has been prepared by CEN/TC 296 "Tanks for transport of dangerous goods" (secretariat: AFNOR, France). The responsible German Working Committee is NA 104-02-04 AA "Überfüllsicherungen und Füllstandsanzeiger" ("Overfill prevention devices and tank content gauges") of the Tank Installations Standards Committee (NATank) at DIN.
