DIN EN 14116:2013-01

This European Standard covers the digital interface at the product loading and/or discharge coupling which is used for the transfer of product related information and specifies the performance requirements, critical safety aspects and tests to provide compatibility of devices. It specifies a digital interface suitable for use in conjunction with fluid fuels. With respect to DIN EN 14116:2011, the content of the individual messages and the structure of the messages have been revised. The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 296 "Tanks for transport of dangerous goods" (secretariat: AFNOR, France). The collaborating German Working Committee is NA 104-02-04 AA "Überfüllsicherungen und Füllstandsanzeiger" ("Overfill prevention devices and tank content gauges") of the Tank Installations Standards Committee (NATank) at DIN.
