The standard sheets of this lose-leaf publication contain a guideline and general information important for the control of the interchangeability and safety of lamp caps and holders and gauges. Through Amendment A14, new system requirements for cap/holder fit systems have been specified. The responsible committee is UK 521.2 "Lampensockel und -fassungen" ("Lamp caps and holders") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
