The standard sheets of this loose-leaf publication contain a guideline and general information which are important for control of interchangeability and safety of lamp caps and holders together with gauges. Through Amendment A13, the specifications on the international designation of lamp caps and holders (standard sheet 7007-1-6) and specifications on clearances and creepage distances for caps on finished lamps (standard sheet 7007-6-3) have been revised. The committee responsible for the standard is UK 521.2 "Lampensockel und -fassungen" ("Lamp caps and holders") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

This document replaces DIN EN 60061-4:2010-05 .
