The standard sheets of this lose-leaf publication contain a guideline and general information, which are important for the control of the interchangeability and safety of lamp caps and holders and gauges. Through Amendment A12, the specifications for the international designation of lamp caps and holders have been revised. The Subcommittee responsible for this standard is UK 521.2 "Lampensockel und -fassungen" ("Lamp caps and holders") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

Replacement amendments

This document replaces DIN EN 60061-4:2008-02 .
