DIN EN 60269-6:2024-12

This document covers the requirements of Part 1 of the series and the supplementary requirements for fuse links for the protection of PV strings and PV arrays in equipment for circuits of rated voltages up to 1 500 V DC. and, where applicable, for circuits with higher rated voltages. The object of these supplementary requirements is to establish the characteristics of PV fuse-links in such a way that they can be replaced by other fuse-links having the same characteristics, provided that their dimensions are identical. The standard differs from DIN EN 60269-6 (VDE 0636-6):2011-11 as follows: a) modified scope; b) updated normative references; c) updated terms; d) updated test conditions; e) updated Annexes AA and BB. This document is used for the design and testing of fuse links for the protection of PV strings and PV arrays in equipment for circuits with rated voltages up to 1 500 V DC and, where applicable, for circuits with higher rated voltages.
