Overview

This standard deals with the safety of gas, oil and solid-fuel burning appliances having electrical connections, for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances. In addition to an adaptation to edition 4.2 of IEC 60335-1, the requirements for spark-ignition circuits have been revised. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 511.6 "Elektrische Ausrüstung von nicht-elektrisch beheizten Geräten" ("Electrical equipment of non-electrically heated appliances") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

This document replaces DIN EN 60335-2-102 Berichtigung 1:2008-06; VDE 0700-102 Berichtigung 1:2008-06 , DIN EN 60335-2-102:2007-04; VDE 0700-102:2007-04 .
