Overview
Through Amendment A2:2012 which has been incorporated into the European Standard EN 60335-2-51:2003, clause 1 "Scope" of EN 60335-2-51:2003 is changed. This standard deals with the safety of electric stationary circulation pumps for household and similar use intended for use in heating systems or in service water systems; their rated voltage is not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances. The responsible committee is Subcommittee UK 511.11 "Motorische Geräte" ("Motor-operated appliances") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN EN 60335-2-51:2009-02; VDE 0700-51:2009-02 .
