Overview
These particular requirements apply to refrigerators, frozen-food storage cabinets and food freezers (fitted with their accessories) for household and similar use, supplied from the mains or from batteries. This standard differs from DIN EN 28960:1993-10 as follows: a) the text has been revised and brought in line with IEC 60704-1:2010-02; b) the test enclosure has been deleted as it is specified in IEC 60704-1:2010-02. The responsible committee is DKE/GUK 513.6 "Kühl- und Gefriergeräte" ("Cooling and freezing appliances") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN EN 28960:1993-10 .
