Overview
These particular requirements apply to refrigerators, frozen-food storage cabinets and food freezers (fitted with their accessories) for household and similar use, supplied from the mains or from batteries. This standard differs from DIN EN 60704-2-14:2014-01 as follows: a) internal compartment temperatures were specified for the test for other types of refrigerated compartments; b) Annex ZZ was added. The committee responsible is DKE/GUK 513.6 "Kühl- und Gefriergeräte" ("Cooling and freezing appliances") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
