Overview

This European Standard applies to transportable single spindle moulders, with a maximum cutter block diameter of 200 mm, intended for cutting wood and analogue materials, possibly having a plastic coating or edge, by hand-feed operation. The previous draft standard was E DIN EN 61029-2-8 AA (VDE 0740-508/AA):2008-12. The responsible Committee is K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

Replacement amendments

This document replaces DIN EN 61029-2-8:2004-05; VDE 0740-508:2004-05 .
