Overview

This European Standard applies to transportable mitre saws with a blade diameter not exceeding 350 mm, intended for cutting wood and analogous materials, plastics and non-ferrous materials except magnesium. With respect to DIN EN 61029-2-9 (VDE 0740-509):2013-07 the following changes have been made: a) the requirement for the operating condition of the saw aggregate after completion of the test in accordance with 18.Z105 has been incorporated. The responsible committee is DKE/K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
