Overview
This European Standard applies to transportable mitre saws with a blade diameter not exceeding 350 mm, intended for cutting wood and analogous materials, , plastics and non-ferrous materials except magnesium . With respect to DIN EN 61029-2-9 (VDE 0740-509):2010-06, the following changes have been made: a) rewording of some clauses and b) improvement and clarification of clause 18. The responsible committee is DKE/K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
