Overview
This European Standard applies to transportable mitre saws with a blade diameter not exceeding 350 mm, intended for cutting wood and analogous materials. With respect to DIN EN 61029-2-9 (VDE 0740-509):2003-07 and DIN EN 61029-2-9 Corrigendum 1 (VDE 0740-509 Corrigendum 1):2003-11 the following changes have been made: a) the content has been adapted to EN 61029-1:2009; b) the requirements have been adapted to the new Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC). The responsible Committee is K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN EN 61029-2-9 Berichtigung 1:2003-11; VDE 0740-509 Berichtigung 1:2003-11 , DIN EN 61029-2-9:2003-07; VDE 0740-509:2003-07 .
