This standard applies to applies to screwdrivers and impact wrenches. This standard differs from DIN EN 60745-2-2 (VDE 0740-2-2):2011-01 as follows: a) requirements for transportable electric tools and lawn and garden machinery (previously IEC 61029 and IEC 60335) have been included; b) content editorially revised. The responsible committee is DKE/K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

Replacement amendments

This document replaces DIN EN 60745-2-2:2011-01; VDE 0740-2-2:2011-01 .

This document has been corrected by: DIN EN 62841-2-2 Berichtigung 1:2017-07; VDE 0740-2-2 Berichtigung 1:2017-07 .
