This standard applies to hand-held tappers and threaders. This standard differs from DIN EN 60745-2-9 (VDE 0740-2-9):2010-07 as follows: The previous standard has been revised and adapted to IEC 62841-1. The responsible committee is DKE/K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

Replacement amendments

This document replaces DIN EN 60745-2-9:2010-07; VDE 0740-2-9:2010-07 .

This document has been corrected by: DIN EN 62841-2-9 Berichtigung 1:2017-07; VDE 0740-2-9 Berichtigung 1:2017-07 .
