Sit harnesses are not suitable to be used for fall arrest purposes. The responsible national standardization committee is NA 075-03-01 AA "Persönliche Schutzausrüstung gegen Absturz" ("Personal fall protection equipment") at DIN Standards Committee Personal Protective Equipment (NPS).
