DIN EN IEC 62148-17:2024-10

This part of IEC 62148 defines physical interface specifications for transmitter and receiver components with dual coaxial RF connectors. The standard describes the dimensions of the components associated with a plug connection, the pin assignment, and the designation of the different designs. There are no restrictions on the scope of application of the document. The standard differs from the previous edition as follows: a) IEC 61169-60 has been added as a normative reference for SMPM connectors; b) normative reference IEC 60874-1 (withdrawn) has been replaced by IEC 61754 (all parts); c) a reference to the terms and definitions of IEC 62007-1 has been added in Clause 3; d) a new column "Typical" has been added to the tables in Figure 2 and Figure 3 to clarify the meaning of all listed values. The standard increases investment security for manufacturers and users, provides test laboratories and manufacturers with defined test specifications, and ensures compatibility across manufacturers.
