Overview

An adjustment to new technical requirements of market surveillance has been made with the new version, such as, for instance, requirements for throttle-control linkage. The content regarding noise and vibration measurements has been aligned with DIN EN ISO 22867 or DIN EN ISO 22868. The standard has been prepared by Working Group 6 "Machinery for forestry" of Technical Committee CEN/TC 144 "Tractors and machinery for agriculture and forestry", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France), and by Technical Committee ISO/TC 23/SC 17 "Manually portable forest machinery" (secretariat: SIS, Sweden). The responsible national committee is NA 020-00-12 AA "Tragbare Forstmaschinen" ("Manually portable forest machinery").
