Overview

This standard is identical to ISO 9016:2001. It specifies mainly the method to be used when describing test specimen location and notch orientation for the testing and reporting of impact tests on welded butt joints. It includes test specimen denomination and additional reporting requirements. The content has not been modified with respect to DIN EN 875:1995-10. The responsible German Joint Working Committee is NA 092-00-05 GA "NAS/NMP: Zerstörende Prüfung von Schweißverbindungen (DVS AG Q 4)" ("NAS/NMP: Destructive tests of welds (DVS AG Q 4)").
