Overview

This standard is identical with ISO 9016:2012. It specifies the methods to be used when describing test specimen location and notch orientation for the testing and reporting of impact tests on welded butt joints. It includes test specimen denomination and additional reporting requirements. With respect to DIN EN ISO 9016:2011-05, no modifications regarding the content have been made. The responsible German Joint Working Committee is NA 092-00-05 GA "Gemeinschaftsarbeitsausschuss NAS/NMP: Zerstörende Prüfung von Schweißverbindungen (DVS AG Q 4)" ("Joint Working Committee NAS/NMP: Destructive tests of welds (DVS AG Q 4)") at the Welding Standards Committee (NAS).
