4.2.1 of the standard EN ISO 9539:2010-05 could be interpreted in two ways. It was not clear if a measurement shall be carried out after every step a), b) and c) or if a measurement shall be carried out after step c). With this edition of the standard (DIN EN ISO 9539:2014), a clear method is specified. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 092-00-07 AA "Ausrüstung zum Gasschweißen, Schneiden und verwandte Prozesse" ("Equipment for gas welding, cutting and allied processes") at DIN.
