Overview
DIN SPEC 91400 provides a classification and description system for Building Information Modelling (BIM) enabling building information models to be filled with data where the contents is compatible with the tendering system STLB-Bau and with the syntax and semantics of the International Standard ISO 16739 (Industry Foundation Classes, IFC). For this purpose, the DIN SPEC specifies requirements regarding the component-related alphanumeric data contents of building information models (BIM). The classification is provided in form of a web-based lfcXML file and can be used in the preparation of building information models according to the individual application.
