Short description
The standard applies to the development of evacuation plans for new and existing construction sites. Whether an evacuation plan is necessary for smaller construction sites or outdoor construction sites (not in buildings) must be checked and documented by the responsible site management in advance of construction site planning as part of the risk assessment in accordance with the Workplace Ordinance. For construction sites within the meaning of the Workplace Ordinance, an evacuation plan should be drawn up that meets the specific requirements of the respective construction site. This ensures that everyone can leave the construction site safely in the event of an emergency. This standard serves as a guide for identifying and addressing the points of such a plan. The standard is not intended as a regulation but as a working aid for the creation of a concept for the evacuation of persons in the event of danger on construction sites.
