This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 031-02-02 AA "Elektrische Betriebsmittel" ("Electrical equipment") at DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection (FNFW) and contains Amendment A1 including deletion of the previously required protective conductor testing device. The responsible working committee came to the conclusion that this protective conductor testing device is not suitable for performing a qualitative test and therefore no longer corresponds to the current state of the art. A conforming protective conductor test is performed during the regular device test. The change will be made accordingly in all generator standards of the FNFW.
