DIN EN 13480-1:2012-11

The purpose of this EN 13480 is to specify requirements for the design, manufacture, installation and testing of industrial piping made of metallic material for safe operating conditions. This standard is applicable to metallic piping above ground, ducted or buried, irrespective of pressure. The aim of the new edition of the DIN EN 13480-1 standard series in 2012 was the incorporation of the amendments and corrigenda to the standard parts which have been published since 2002. DIN EN 13480 contains general definitions related to pressure equipment. This standard (DIN EN 13480-1:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 267 "Industrial piping and pipelines", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). The responsible German committee is NA 082-00-17 AA at the Piping and Boiler Plant Standards Committee (NARD).
