Overview
The standard sheets of this loose-leaf publication specify requirements for lamp holders, which are important for interchangeability of a lamp with a certain cap in the corresponding lamp holder. Through Amendments A40 and A41, new requirements for the lamp holders BAU9s, BAUZ9s, GR14q, PU20d, G28d and 2GX11 have been added. The Subcommittee responsible for this standard is UK 521.2 "Lampensockel und -fassungen" ("Lamp caps and holders") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN EN 60061-2:2010-05 .
