This standard is the adaptation to DIN EN 60601-1:2013-12 with the associated collateral standards for adaptation to the state of the art. The undated references have been changed to dated references by means of a correction in order to comply with this requirement in the IEC directive. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 812.2 "Therapie, Chirurgie" ("Therapy, surgery") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

This document replaces DIN EN 60601-2-6:2016-03; VDE 0750-2-6:2016-03 .
