Overview

The presented standard is a product standard for heat shrinkable components. The committee responsible for the standard is NA 140-00-02 AA "Wärmeschrumpfende Bauelemente und Isoliermaterialien" ("Heat shrinkable components and insulation material") of the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN. This standard applies in connection with VG 95343-2 for connector endshells without inner coating which are used as endshells with electrical plug connectors. Connector endshells with inner coating see VG 95343-18. Connector endshells without inner coating, with inner shield see VG 95343-20. The heat shrinking connector endshells without inner coating according to this standard are subject to qualification approval according to VG 95211. Heat shrinking connector endshells according to this standard are applicable at environmental temperatures between -75 °C and +150 °C.
