This standard is a process standard on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). It applies to electro-explosive devices (EED). It is applicable to electro-explosive devices (EED) for the German Armed Forces. It specifies statistical analysis methods and the procedures to be applied in establishing the sensitivity thresholds of EED. The sensitivity thresholds are used as a basis for verifying the immunity margins of EED-equipped firing circuits according to VG 95379-20. The purpose of the standard is to ensure that procedures for measurements on EED according to VG 95378-10 to VG 95378-13 are carried out in a uniform manner. The committee responsible for the standard is NA 140-00-20-06 UA "Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit (EMV); EMV von Zündern" ("Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC); electromagnetic compatibility of electroexplosive devices (EED)" of the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee at DIN.
