This standard is a test standard for "Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)". The standards of series VG 95379 apply to firing circuits equipped with electro-explosive devices (EED) in systems of the German Armed Forces. The standard VG 95379-11 shall be used for the determination of immunity margins against conducted disturbances generated by the item under test (system) or by the higher-level platform during the operation modes specified in the EMC test plan. The immunity margins determined according to this standard apply to firing circuits in passive condition with instrumented EED against conducted disturbances which are generated by the item under test (system) or by the higher-level platform. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 140-00-20-02 UA 6 "Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit (EMV); EMV von Zündern" ("Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC); electromagnetic compatibility of electroexplosive devices (EED)") of the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee at DIN.
